As a soldier in training you have no affiliations, it is up to you to pick a side and lead them to victory. Determine your play style on the fly with your choice of 18 historic weapons and ride your trusty steed into fierce battles. Non-combat professions will allow access to limited resources not found anywhere else, but make haste, the battle is upon us!

Before setting out on your adventures through the chaotic times in ancient China, you must first establish your character-choosing a name, background, and weapon specialization. Next, select one of the 18 weapon types available to specialize your character in that form of combat. Your weapon determines what weapons you are able to equip, as well as your Health and other attributes. Once you are satisfied with your choice of weapon, to finalize the character creation process, browse through the list of faces, hair styles, and body shapes.
Upon reaching level 2, it is possible to begin training skills that correspond with your selected weapon type.
Coming in a variety of forms, mounts serve as your companions—speeding you from danger, and charging into the thick of battle.
The Campaign system allows players to take part in a pivotal events and battles that occurred centuries ago. Many of these involve fighting alongside legendary heroes (such as Cao Cao, Liu Bei, and Sun Quan). Select from the over 50 campaigns available, ranging in size from 1 to over 50 players, including races, reconnaissance missions, assassinations, rescue operations, full-scale battles, and more.
Production skills allow the player to craft a variety of useful items, ranging from forging weapons and armor, to brewing potions, and taming mounts. A total of eight crafting skills are available for the player to learn. Though basic components will suffice in many recipes, rare materials are needed to produce high quality items.
